Á¦1Á¶ º»È¸ÀÇ ¸íĪ(Name)
º»È¸ÀÇ ¸íĪÀº ÇÁ·¹ÀÌÀú ¹ë¸® ÇÑÀÎȸ Fraser Valley
Korean AssociationÀ̶ó ĪÇÑ´Ù.
The name of the association shall be called the Fraser
Valley Korean Association.
(Here after called the Association)
Á¦2Á¶ º»È¸ÀÇ ¸ñÀû(Purpose)
ÇÁ·¹ÀÌÀú¹ë¸® Áö¿ª ³»ÀÇ ÇÑÀÎ »óÈ£ Ä£¸ñ°ú ´Ü°áÀ» µµ¸ðÇϰí Áö¿ª »çȸ ¹ßÀü¿¡ ±â¿©ÇÑ´Ù.
The purpose of the Association shall be to promote the
unity of Korean residents living in FraserValley area in order to enhance
their mutual assistance and cooperation.
Á¦3 Á¶ Áö¿ª¹üÀ§(Regional Area)
Aldergrove, B.C.·ÎºÎÅÍ Boston Bar, B.C.Áö¿ªÀ» Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ´Â ÇÁ·¹ÀÌÀú ¹ë¸® Áö¿ªÀ» ¹üÀ§·Î ÇÑ´Ù.
FraserValley area that is under
the jurisdiction of the Association extends from Aldergrove, B.C. to Boston
Bar, B.C.
Á¦4Á¶ ȸ¿ø(Membership)
º»È¸ÀÇ È¸¿øÀº º»È¸ÀÇ Áö¿ª¹üÀ§ ³»¿¡¼ °ÅÁÖÇϰųª »ç¾÷ü¸¦ ¿î¿µÇÏ´Â Àڷμ ¸¸ 18¼¼ ÀÌ»óÀÇ Çѱ¹°è ¹× ±× ¹è¿ìÀÚ(ºñ Çѱ¹°è Æ÷ÇÔ)·Î ÇÑ´Ù.
Korean residents living or doing a business in above
mentioned area whose age is 18yeares old or older, and his/her spouse are
qualified to become members of the Association.
Á¦ 5Á¶ ȸ¿øÀÇ Àǹ«(Duties)
ȸ¿øÀº º»È¸ÀÇ ¸ñÀû¿¡ Àû±Ø Âü¿©Çϸç ÀÌ»çȸ¿¡ ÀÇÇØ °áÁ¤µÇ´Â ³â Á¤±âȸºñ¸¦ ³³ºÎÇÏ¿©¾ß ÇÑ´Ù.
Members are required to participate in all activities
to fulfill the purpose of the Association and the annual fee decided by the
Board of Directors.
Á¦6Á¶ ȸºñÀÇ °áÁ¤(Annual
Fee)
ȸºñ´Â ÀÌ»çȸ¿¡¼ °áÁ¤ÇÑ´Ù.
The annual fee shall be decided by the Board of
Directors.
Á¦ 7Á¶ Á¶Á÷±¸¼º(Officers)
1. º»È¸ÀÇÀÇ È¸ÀåÀº °¢ Áö¿ª´ëÇ¥ÀÇ °£¼±¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ¼±ÃâµÇ¸ç ÀÓ±â´Â 2³âÀ¸·Î ÇÑ´Ù.
The president of the Association shall be elected by a
majority of area representatives and his/her term shall be 2 years.
2. Áö¿ª´ëÇ¥´Â °¢ Áö¿ªÀÇ Áö¿ªÈ¸¿øÀÌ ¼±ÃâÇϸç ÀÓ±â´Â 1³âÀ¸·Î Ç쵂 ¿¬ÀÓÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù.
Area representative shall be elected by the members of
their respective area, the term shall be one year and can be re-elected.
3. º»È¸ÀÇ ºÎȸÀå, Ãѹ«, À繫, ¼·¿Ü´Â ȸÀåÀÌ ÀÓ¸íÇϸç ÀÓ±â´Â ȸÀå°ú µ¿ÀÏÇÏ°í ºÎȸÀåÀº ÀÚµ¿ À̻簡 µÈ´Ù.
The Vice President, the Secretary, the Treasurer and
the Director of Public Relations shall be appointed by the President and their
terms are the same as that of the President¡¯s.
4. Áö¿ª´ëÇ¥ÀÇ ¼ö´Â Áö¿ªÁֹΠ5°¡±¸ ÀÌ»ó, 10°¡±¸ ¹Ì¸¸ÀÏ °æ¿ì 2¸íÀ¸·Î Çϰí Áõ°¡µÇ´Â ¸Å 10°¡±¸¸¶´Ù 1¸í¾¿ Áõ¿øÇÑ´Ù.
An area that has more than 5 but less than 10 households
can elect 2 area representatives and an additional area representative shall be
granted for every ten households thereafter.
Á¦ 8Á¶ ȸÀå ¼±Ãâ ¹æ¹ý(Election of the President)
1. ȸÀå ÀÓ±â Á¾·á ÃÖ¼Ò 1°³¿ù Àü¿¡ ÀÌ»çȸ¸¦ ¼ÒÁýÇÏ¿© ¹«±â¸í ÅõÇ¥¹æ½Ä¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ´Ù.
The President shall be elected by secret ballot at
least one month prior to the end of the current president¡¯s term.
2. ȸÀåÀÇ ÃßõÀº ȸ¿ø Áß¿¡¼ ´ë³»¿ÜÀûÀ¸·Î À¯´ÉÇÑ ÀûÀÓÀÚ·Î ÇÑ´Ù.
Any member of the Association can nominate a candidate
for the President. The candidate must be a capable person who can manage
effectively internal affairs and represent the Association with dignity in
external affairs.
3. Ãßõ ¹æ½ÄÀº ÃßõÀÚ°¡ ÇÇÃßõÀÚÀÇ °æ·ÂÀ» ¼±°Å±Ç Àڵ鿡°Ô ¿ä¾à ¼³¸íÇÑ´Ù.
In electing the President, the nominator should
prepare a brief statement about the career experiences of the nominee for
voters.
4. ÇÇÃßõÀÚ Áß¿¡¼ ÀÌ»çȸÀÇ ÃÖ´Ù µæÇ¥ÀÚ°¡ ȸÀåÀ¸·Î ¼±ÃâµÇ¸ç ´ÜÀÏ ÇÇÃßõÀÚÀÇ °æ¿ì¿¡´Â °ú¹Ý¼ö ÀÌ»çÀÇ ÁöÁö¸¦ µæÇØ¾ß ÇÑ´Ù.
If there is more than one candidate, the one who gains
the most number of votes from the member of the Board of Directors shall be
elected as the President, in case of a single candidate, he/she should gain
majority vote.
5. ´ÜÀÏ ÇÇÃßõÀÚ°¡ °ú¹Ý¼ö ¹Ì´ÞÀÏ °æ¿ì¿¡´Â ÀçÅõÇ¥ ¹æ½Ä¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ´Ù.
When the single candidate fails to gain a majority
vote, the entire election procedure shall be resumed.
Á¦9Á¶ ÅõÇ¥±Ç ¹× ¼±°Å ¹æ¹ý(Voting right and election procedure)
1. °¢ Áö¿ª ´ëÇ¥´Â 1ÀÎ 1Ç¥ÀÇ ÅõÇ¥±ÇÀ» °®´Â´Ù.
Each area representative shall have one voting right.
2. ÅõÇ¥´Â º°µµ·Î °áÀÇÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â ÇÑ ¹«±â¸í ÅõÇ¥¹æ½Ä¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ´Ù.
Otherwise stated, voting shall be secret.
3. À§ÀÓÅõÇ¥´Â ÀÎÁ¤ÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â´Ù.
Voting by proxy shall not be permitted.
Á¦10Á¶ ÀÌ»çȸ ÀÇÀå(Chairperson
of the Board of Directors)
ÀÌ»çȸ ÀÇÀåÀº ȸÀåÀÌ µÇ¸ç ȸÀåÀÌ °á¼® ¶Ç´Â À¯°í½Ã ºÎȸÀåÀÌ ÀÇÀåÁ÷À» ´ëÇàÇÑ´Ù.
The President shall preside as the Chairperson and in
his/her absence the Vice President shall perform the duties of the president as
the Chairperson.
Á¦11 Á¶ ȸÀÇ ¼ÒÁý(Meetings)
1. º»È¸ÀÇ Á¤±âÃÑȸ´Â ¸Å³â 1ȸ 12¿ù Áß ½Ç½ÃÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ¿øÄ¢À¸·Î Çϸç ÃÑȸ°ø°í´Â °¢ Áö¿ª ´ëÇ¥¸¦ ÅëÇÏ¿© È«º¸ÇÑ´Ù.
The annual meeting shall be convened once a year
during month of Dec. and should be announced to all members through area
representatives.
2. ÀÌ»çȸ´Â ¿¬ 4ȸ ¼ÒÁýÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ¿øÄ¢À¸·Î Çϸç ȸÀå ¹× °¢ Áö¿ª´ëÇ¥ÀÇ ¿ä±¸¿¡ µû¶ó ¼ÒÁýÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù.
The regular meeting of the Board of Directors shall be
convened four times a year and it can be held by request of the President of
area representatives.
3. Àå¼Ò ¹× ÀÏÀÚ´Â ÀÌ»çȸ¿¡¼ °áÁ¤ÇÑ´Ù.
Time and place of each meeting shall be decided by the
Board of Directors.
Á¦12Á¶ ÀÌ»çȸÀÇ È¸ÀÇ ÁøÇà(The Board of Directors)
1. ÀÌ»çȸÀÇ ±¸¼º¿øÀº ȸÀå, ºÎȸÀå, Áö¿ª´ëÇ¥·Î¼ ±¸¼ºµÈ´Ù.
The Board of Directors shall be constituted by the
President, Vice President and area representatives.
2. ÀÌ»çȸ ±¸¼º¿øÀÇ °ú¹Ý¼ö ÀÌ»ó Âü¼® ½Ã ȸÀǰ¡ ¼º¸³µÈ´Ù.
The quorum shall be constituted by a majority of the
Board of Directors.
Á¦13Á¶ ÀÌ»çÀÇ ÀÓ¹«(Duties
of the Board of directors)
ÀÌ»ç´Â ÇØ´ç Áö¿ªÁÖ¹ÎÀÇ ÀǰßÀ» ¼ö·ÅÇÏ¿© ÀÌ»çȸ¿¡ »óÁ¤Çϸç ÀÌ»çȸ¿¡¼ °áÁ¤µÇ´Â ¸ðµç »çÇ×À» Áö¿ªÁֹο¡°Ô ½Å¼ÓÈ÷ Àü´ÞÇÑ´Ù.
Each member of the Board of Directors shall be
responsible to receive views and opinions expressed by the member of the area
he/she represents and present them for discussion at the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors shall be also responsible to inform all members of their
areas the issues which where presented, discussed and passed.
Á¦ 14Á¶ ÀÓ¿øÀÇ Àǹ«(Duties
of officers)
1. ȸÀå(President)
- ÀÌ»çȸÀÇ ÀÇÀå
shall preside at each meeting of the Board of
Directors.
- º»È¸ÀÇ ´ë³»¿ÜÀû ´ëÇ¥·Î¼ ÀÓ¹«¸¦ ¼öÇà
shall perform as the highest executive officer in all
internal affairs and also represent the Association in dealing with external affairs.
- º»È¸ °ü·Ã Á¦¹Ý ¾÷¹«ÁøÇàÀ» °ü¸® °¨µ¶
shall supervise all administrative works of the
Association.
2. ºÎȸÀå(Vice President)
- ȸÀåÀÇ ºÎÀç½Ã ȸÀåÀÇ ÀÓ¹«¸¦ ´ëÇà
shall perform all the duties of the President in
his/her absence.
